The year 2024 marked another major milestone for the group, with the opening of a new location in Langley. This new venue allowed the team to expand further, adding three new groups for children ages 3 to 16. The expansion provided more children with the opportunity to learn Ukrainian dance in a welcoming and supportive environment. Meanwhile, the original locations in Burnaby and New Westminster continued to thrive, serving as hubs for dancers of all ages and abilities to explore both the technical and cultural aspects of Ukrainian dance.Marta's vision extended beyond just performance. She wanted to create a community where each dancer felt valued, supported, and part of a larger family. Through mutual encouragement and a shared love for dance, the "Mriya" team became more than just a dance group—it became a close-knit family, where every member played an important role in helping each other overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
