Mission of the Society
The mission of the Society is to cultivate and celebrate Ukrainian arts as a vital part of Canadian cultural life. We are dedicated to preserving and promoting Ukrainian heritage,with a special focus on Ukrainian dance, while fostering artistic excellence, education, andcommunity engagement.We achieve this mission by:
 Offering diverse Ukrainian cultural programs across British Columbia and Canada,with an emphasis on dance;
 Establishing and operating a permanent Ukrainian dance theatre company;
 Providing training and education through a Ukrainian dance school and studio;
 Collaborating with Ukrainian and multicultural organizations to co-create artisticprograms and productions;
 Raising funds through memberships, donations, and grants to sustain and expand ourcultural initiatives;
 Producing and sharing educational materials that enrich knowledge and appreciationof Ukrainian arts; and
 Acquiring and maintaining the resources necessary to support the Society’s programsand activities.
Through these efforts, the Society strives to ensure that Ukrainian artistic traditions thrive,evolve, and continue to inspire future generations in Canada’s multicultural landscape.
